God works from the inside out, but the world works from the outside in, using an abundance of foolish philosophies that excuse sin. However, the Bible is full of examples and instructions giving faithful warnings to us to avoid sin. Our future destiny proves our bodies and what we do with them are very important. In fact, we are the temple - the Holy of Holies - where God dwells.
