As Christians, we have legal rights and should use them when necessary. Paul certainly did. But we are going to one day judge angels, so why would we want the world deciding things for us that aren't truly critical? Sometimes that means settling things the best we can; sometimes that means completely dropping a matter. There is not really anything more important than letting God take care of problems. After all, He has changed us by washing us, sanctifying us, and justifying us. We should not turn back to the world when we have God's power to help us handle things.
