As the head of the family, a father has some pretty serious responsibilities. Obviously, he is to love his family, but not so obvious to many is that he is to teach them to love and honor God. An important aspect of this is to live for his family so they can see just what that means. "Do as I say and do." But a father doesn't have the corner on control and power.
